A finalist in the 2020 Jack Kemp Affordable & Workforce Housing Award program, HearthSide Club Lafayette is a 150-unit community with 75 affordable units and 50 market-rate units in a single, 4-story building set on 5.6 acres. This community was the 2nd joint venture between OneStreet and non-profit developer DreamKey Partners out of Charlotte. Hearthside Club Lafayette was the first project funded with tax incentives through the City of Fayetteville’s Tax Allocation District program.
In addition to improvements on the 5.6-acre site, the project also included the construction of shared master infrastructure on the adjacent 8.13-acre site. That shared infrastructure included stormwater and detention pond facilities serving both tracts, a new street, sidewalks, and streetscaping along offsite streets.
