Nestled between Atlanta and Athens, GA, Monroe offers residents a small-town feel and was built around some of the foundational cotton mills in the country, which first opened in 1895. Partnering with the family that purchased the Monroe Cotton Mill in 2011, OneStreet developed MainStreet Walton Mill on a previously undeveloped portion of the mill site, incorporating several architectural elements of the original mill building to create a community that looks like it’s always been there while providing residents with modern finishes and amenities including a Resident Wellness Center, outdoor grilling pavilion, fitness center, library, and community gardens.
